How do you guys deal with old Grill? How do you throw it away?
It's natural gas based.

So what I am going to do is:
1.disconnect the tubes
2. move the grill to the curb on the garbage pick up day

Will they pick it up????

How bad is it? Often if you put an ok grill out to the curb and you get a decent amount of street traffic it will just disappear on its own. Will they pick it up? Not sure who your garbage is but usually if it is a large item you need to request special pick or sometimes they will just take it anyway. You could always break down to pieces and they'd be more likely to take it.

I actually have one myself to get rid of but it is older. I'll likely just break it down and see, my garbage men are great, they have taken things I was 100% sure they wouldnt.

1 (a) shut off gas supply

Some gas grills use reverse threads so you may have to turn the nuts the opposite way.

Where do you live? If it's on the east side of the city, there are look outs that communicate to junk collectors, and it will be picked up even before garbage day within a half hour

Seriously though, if it is metal someone will take it from the curb and add it to their scrap pile. You can look on Craigslist and look up scrap and they will just take if for you.
