I’m looking at a house for sale in Carnegie. Is this a safe area? I’ve read good and bad reviews. Thanks!

Carnegie has improved over the last few years. It was never unsafe but there was a decent amount of petty crime and drug activity. I would not be discouraged from living there.

Very safe. Becoming a tad trendy. Favorite places there include Cefalo's, Cafe Dehli and the new meadery. Up and coming. Buy with confidence.

My dad grew up there, long time ago. For a while it was in decline but the last 15 or so years it has grown a lot and many of the older homes have since been remodeled. They have done a lot to improve that area and it really is a nice location for jumping on a major road to get anywhere. Prices have come up quite a bit as well for homes.

Cafe Dehli is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area!
