Hi. I live in Weirton, WV currently but want to move closer to my job in Crafton. I also help my parents manage their business (in addition to helping them around the house more as they near retirement) in Weirton as a side job so I would like to live somewhere outside Robinson TWP, close to 22 so I can get my work faster but also jump onto 22 and go back to WV when I need to help them. This is not an immediate transition, it's something I have in mind as I progress into the new year and I just want to start doing research.

Specific criteria I have:

- close to 22 (15-20 mins), close to Robinson TWP obviously (my job is on the edge, just into Crafton)

- will be wanting to buy/rent a house, want to establish permanent residency eventually.

- No HOA
- would prefer a more open area or neighborhood, not in town, don't really want to be up against someone else or wedged in between two others. I rent a house now on the outskirts of the city and it's nice having an acre and privacy. I realize that might not be possible here but I just want an area where I'm not crowded as soon as I walk out the front door.

Oakdale, Clinton, Imperial and Noblestown come to mind being right off 22 but I don't know if there's a lot of available housing or if there are better places. Only familiar with Imperial as I used to work out there years ago. Just looking for some areas or neighborhoods that are near 22 as my job demands has changed to the point where I simply want to move to PA to be closer to work but be near 22 for easy access back to Weirton to help my parents.

I love the old homes in Crafton. Why not there? They also have the West Busway that is nice to have close by.

As the OP said....- would prefer a more open area or neighborhood, not in town, don't really want to be up against someone else or wedged in between two others.

Yeah could be several areas depending on the budget. What were you thinking in terms of purchase or rent? Besides what you mention anything a must have? Beds/Baths?

North Strabane and Cecil will have easy access once the southern beltway is completed. 2022, I believe. Also, Cross Creek TWP is beautiful and has a fantastic county park and lake.
