Madden spent about 30 seconds on Pitt basketball not making a prediction other than not thinking they’re out of the tournament, and speculation of Capel going to Georgetown since Patrick Ewing got ousted.

Georgetown could make a run at Shrewsberry too, I hope not. Never know what to believe with these rumors though and you know their agents are working behind the scenes.

Vanderbilt and Ohio St losing is good for Pitt’s chances tomorrow. They need FAU to beat UAB later too though which could be tough. Not to say they don’t still get in, but best to get as much help as you can when you’re on the bubble.

My prediction for them is they get sent to Dayton. But I won’t wager on it too tough to know what the committee is thinking.

The “nice run” isn’t over yet

Pitt receives 1st NCAA Tournament bid since 2016, will meet Mississippi State in First Four

Interesting matchup. Miss St plays tough defense but not a very good shooting/offensive team in general. Chris Jans is a stud coach though known as the “dentist” so if that comes to fruition, Pitt can’t get open looks and gets held under 70, forget it.

Well they have to win a qualifier. They aren’t really a NCAA tournament team as we all know, even with recruiting from jails.

Except their “nice run” isn’t over yet, and they are really an NCAA tournament team, you just don’t know because Madden, where you get your sports info, doesn’t barely talk about basketball.

Going dancing: Pitt, Penn State, WVU all earn trips to NCAA tournament

Lol. What jails did Pitt recruit from, and please be specific?

Lol. He wasn’t in jail when they recruited him. Who and what jails did they recruit from?

Even though they were already a tournament team and still no proof they recruited from jails, their nice run still isn’t over after another win last night
