So does anyone know of a local co-packer that works with smaller/newer brands? I've mentioned on here over the years that my wife was making salsa and selling at farm markets. She's been asked by a few stores to carry it but fresh salsa's short life span doesnt make sense so she had been playing with a jarred version so it can be carried in stores.

The regulations and requirements for this type of processing mean we rather find a partner to produce. We have found a few that are about 4+hrs away but would love to keep the business local if anyone knows a local company that might work. I've talked to Schneider's but they don't handle that product type.

Thanks, yes I have seen. That list is not very updated though and most co-packers do not deal w/ small batches. I was hoping for one that did local but we may have to head east more in the middle of the state.
