Just think of how much the rest of the league would down if the Pens miss the playoffs by 1 point and end up with Bedard...

Just think of how much of chance they could’ve had at getting Bedard had they cleaned house since the writing has been on the wall that they have no chance of winning anything of significance.

I forgot the Pens are limited on how much they can move up. So no Bedard...

Sullivan and Hextall getting the ax?

Gonna be interesting to see just how far back they’ve sent the franchise and what the gameplan is going forward as this team is old and so far back of winning anything of significance now, much less making the playoffs to get bounced in the 1st round again

Penguins fire general manager Ron Hextall and Brian Burke

Interesting what a year makes. While many of us said the Pens have had no chance in winning anything of significance, much less a Cup, there was huge clamoring a year ago that the core 3 had to be signed and the window was still open. Even before the end of the season this season, many of the same media folks and I’d wager many of the same fans calling in were doing an about face and saying trading members of the core 3 needed to be done, and some even said Crosby. Interesting to see how this pans out going forward with rebuild talks.

LMAO. Reaching back a long ways from out there in Denver considering Fleury hasn’t been on the Pens since the 2016-2017 season.

With it being said earlier in the season he wants 6 years, yet continuing to be injured and missing many games, falling on his face, especially in big games, etc…, be interesting to see how badly he really wants to be a penguin. Sad that a really good goalie coach was fired over his poor play.

While the NHL playoffs have been awesome so far, especially Florida beating the Bruins in 7 and it being called one of the biggest upsets in NHL history as the Bruins had the most points of any team in a season in NHL history, it gets easier to see just how far away the Pens are from winning anything of significance, especially a championship, which I recall it being said here that’s all that matters, looks to be far away.

Congrats to Tom Barrasso, latest member of the HOF. Its a shame his relationship with the franchise is non existent. If the Pens retired his number, would he even show up?
