Sometime around the late 90's I heard a comedy radio spot with a fake commercial. At the end of the script the announcer said, "Everything you just heard was total bullsh**. If you believed it you're a f**** idiot."
Anyone remember this?

not that one, but 1986 while in college, april 1, WDVE ran one ALL day with a messed up lineup, new call sign 'D-102', a slogan "jimmy and stevie in the afternoon, sometimes they're funny, sometimes they're goons on D.....102. playing odd music as bad as playing taylor swift or maroon 5 or adele today...

the calls into the station were LEGENDARY. I think they ALL had a price on their heads by noon, so they started letting people off the hook later in the day 'happy april FIRST, wink wink nudge nudge'

It was not as bad as the war of the world hoax, but close

^^^^ hilarious! would love to hear if they were to re-broadcast that. do commercial rock stations actually make a recording of EVERY day? probably no real need to do that. but if it existed, i'd enjoy hearing the angry callers.
