Just wondering if anyone knows how to get to Hartwood Acres without a car? I know no busses go out there. This would be in the summer for thier concerts. Are there any nearby busses within walking distance, or shuttles to and from the shows, or cabs?

No, we don't want your kind in the North.

Seriously, I don't think a bus goes anywhere near Hartwood. That is a great venue for concerts. Saw Maynard Ferguson there years ago, if you're cool no problem with alcoholic beverages.

Good question, how would a city dweller without a car get there?

The concerts are on the Middle Road side of Hartwood Acres.

The P11 Middle Road Flyer goes right by there, but I'm not sure if there is weekend service.

Unfortunately, the schedule isn't available online at the moment.

There is no bus service on weekends on Middle Rd. During the week there are 2 or 3 busses in the morning and 2 or 3 in the late afternoon.

The P11 Middle Road Flyer is exclusively a peak direction commuter bus. You would have to catch a cab or hitch a ride out there for a concert.

You do raise a good point that maybe they should offer a shuttle bus service there for concerts, but yeah. Like Copanut said, the north suburbs like their cars and Hartwood is practically in farmland. I should know, I grew up but 2 miles or so from there.

Follow Route 8 North through Etna by bike, and right turn on to Saxonburg Blvd.
