If the GOP actually had some ideas and a "plan" of its own, I could see where that might be "interesting", if not helpful. But if their only strategy continues to be this juvenile resentment and calculated failure, then I'm not sure how the country would benefit from having even more of that.
The plan of the GOP is to keep this place we call America, free.
Why does anyone need a plan to fix what isn't broke? That's what got us where we are now.

They broke it long ago trying to fix it. It works, but nothing like it did before they started jacking with it. It is fixing to not work at all. Then what?
The best politician, is one that leave stuff alone, and keep Federal Government out of our lives.

To be honest, I don't even think it really matters at all anymore as I see Democrats and Republicans as two wings of the same political party, the corpratistwhore party.
Republicans start a disastrous series of unfunded wars and democrats vow to correct it if elected. Once elected, they decide oh well its worked so well before, why change now. Winner - various arms manufactures, Haliburton et al, etc...
Finance and banking industry, it would take a crowbar to wrench the lips of any political candidate from their backsides, regardless of party. Winner - the banks that were too big to fail that did fail and bailed out just in time to then hand out bonuses for sucking the life out of the average American citizen.
Health Care might have been decent and greatly improved, but the Democrats couldn't find a spine amid the lunatic Republican freepers of death panels and instead caved on the public option. Winner - Insurance industry who now gets their extra turn at the trough to suck the life out of a greater mandated number of American citizens.
The small handful of decent political figures who have an ounce of decency and honor and actually give a damn about their constituents are crushed under a sea of corporate lobbyist and establishment political figures that are counting the days until they have sucked all the life out of our country and can then retire to some nice beach resort in the Caymans where they will then take a consultant position for yet another lobbyist firm to see what value the dried up husk of hide that is left of our country can bring them.
Other than that, I don't see any great change in how this country works with Republicans gaining a majority in the Senate.
Well, if they take the House and the Senate, they can roll back some of the disastrous obamacare law....by NOT funding the creation of more than 150 NEW departments, by NOT funding the hiring of 15,000 NEW IRS agents, by NOT funding a lot of the legislation that expands the federal government.
100% dead on right.
If they take both sides we will finally be able to stop the Obama and liberal train wreck and take America back from the liberal hacks who want to destroy this country.
I can see them taking the house back but the Senate might be in 2012.
Then again the mistake a day Presidunce is handing us a gift every day with his massive mistake and poor decisions.
Obama is a gift that keeps on giving and if Obama continues to fail at everyhting he does then we just might be a chance to get rid of liberals running anything in America for a long time.
I say REPEAL HC on day one and then start on repealing the idiot Obamas other crappy decisions.
Given the massive state of federal spending, it would be much cheaper for the government to "shut down" via absolute gridlock. That would be preferable and the most fiscally sane thing to do during the era of Obama. The states can take care of themeselves and will do so without the hindrance of the federal government. Perhaps the states will gain some sense of lucency and take the medicare and social security payroll taxes generated by their citizens and administer them themselves. That would sure neuter the spending monkey.
The Republicans will slam the brakes on public spending. And then they'll be shocked to find that it doesn't jump-start the economy. We'll bump along at pretty much the same rate as we have been. It's going to take time, people.

I have the same thoughts, only I see the lower class growing since the current GOP's in the Senate have a strong disregard for helping the 25 million unemployed.

Unless those Republicans and Democrats are globalist supporters, both parties are chock full of them, and their grand plan is doing well in creating No. American Union. A good test is illegal immigration...If politician is for amnesty or for legalizing illegals they are against the American people. Tell they shape up I think should vote in any other party, Independent, Libertarian...
