Every where I turn yesterday the replacement of McCrystal with Petraeus was hailed as "brilliant"! As if there was a lot of mental power put into this....it was his biggest no-brainer!! What "real" thinking needed to happen here? I got Peyton Manning and Tom Brady on the same team. Manning goes down! Oooooh...what ums gon' do??? This is so hard to figger out! (Sarcasm dripping)

And now that the surge has worked......what now??? Petraus is his guy?? PETRAEUS IS LIKE THE GREEN LANTERN??? Remember Petraeus being ripped by the same Chris Mathews when Bush was his boss?? Now Mathews is praising this pick?? LOL!!

Thanks for putting on the words of these two clowns during the Bush administration so all of us can compare them to those being uttered by the clowns today. Earlier this morning I posted a link that mentioned the fact that Obama is now going to the very man he and Hillary, Biden and others talked so seriously against to save him. Using Bush's heroes and his methods of winning in Iraq is more of Obama using what Bush did with success.
I love to hear the MSM and the other supporters of Obama talking just the opposite of the way they did when they were trying to keep Petraeus from winning "for Bush". Do you remember the Democrat Seantors' sign about General Betrayus and the words of our esteemed Secratary of State about how he had betrayed us? I loved them with their feet in their mouths then just as I do now.

So then despite nearly 10 years of war in Afghanistan, 7 in Iraq, trillions of dollars spent, thousands of dead US soldiers, tens of thousands wounded, and hundreds of thousands of civilians killed, wounded and displaced, the threat of terrorism is rising in the US?
So then can we conclude that the strategy of "fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here" is total bunk?
