I'm white (female & Christian) and one of my best friends (male) is Muslim and lives in Pakistan. I know his whole family, and they're all very nice people. Being Muslim doesn't make you a murderer or terrorist.
There are extremists in every religion, and it is the extremists that people need to be concerned over, whether they're Christian, Muslim, Jewish, or whatever.
No, Islamic religions should not be banned. However, "honor killings" in this country, should not be tolerated.
Well said. Some of my closest friends are Muslim. I have also encountered many in the community who are simply hardworking, decent people, who really want nothing more than to be part of the fabric of America. Why should they be denied the freedom to worship as they choose?
I take great pride in the fact that we in this country have the freedom to practice the religion of our choice, or not practice at all.
Why would anyone want to make fairy tales illegal? Only idiotic, needy adults take them literally. I wish we could make stupidity and gullibility illegal but sadly we can't.
No. It should not be banned. Even if some Muslims are radical, or you may think their religion is too violent. It doesn't matter. Everyone else has to right to prasie whatever god their moronic religion tells them to. Muslims are no different.

Generally put...
Religion - No
Laws based on theocracy - Yes
Well, the constitution agrees.
PS. Does anybody have a good understanding of Sharia Law? Someone who could tabulate the law in the most general form, for a discussion... thank you.
If you study the Qu'ran you will find the Sharia (Gods Law) has a familiar ring if you know the Torah and its commentaries by Jewish scholars called the Talmud. Mohammed lived in a part of the world with Jewish and Christian communities and as a young man most likely had rabbinical instruction (somebody taught him how to read and write). Muslim dietary law is similar to kosher. Again not a surprise if you consider what Arabia was like before the hajira.
A lot of people on this forum believe Islam is a violent religion and it is dangerous. So I will pose the question should Islam be illegal in the United States? I personally think no. Vote in the poll. Here is an article on the issue.
Humanity should wipe this scourge, this cancer, from the face of the earth.
Cool like a holocaust part 2? How do you suppose humanity goes about doing this if not?
