I missed Beck on Thursday and I just watched the first half of it. So please, all of you Beck haters who say he constantly lies and this and that and whine whine whine....

The Daily Beck- Watch The Glenn Beck Show- July 8, 2010- Media to America: Enjoy The Silence (http://watchglennbeck.com/video/2010/July/glenn-beck-show-july-8-2010-media-silence/ - broken link)

Watch the first two segments here. Please, I beg you to tell me where he's wrong in the first 15 - 20 minutes. I beg you, tell me where Beck is wrong here? Now sure, Glenn sometimes even bothers me when goes off on a tangent and acts a bit too crazy with his voices, but these clips right here show why people watch and trust Beck. And why the Left and radicals hate him. Because he is on top of things and right more often than not.

So I challenge you, please tell me where he's wrong.

I guess you ended this thread since I have tried and tried to get many of these people to watch that first 20 minutes of Beck many days and somehow they just can't stand to do it. Of course, they never try because they think they can find out everything he said by watching what Media Matters says about him.

I hope you are successful with your attempt but doubt you will be. These cowards won't take the chance that he may be right and they would hear him be right. They don't know that the top socialist in the world, George Soros, funded Media Matters and still kicks in money to keep the place going. I have never seen one of them deny it but I am sure they don't because they don't want to see proof or that.

The question should be:

Was MLK day deliberately chosen to provoke.

I guess Malik Shabazz must think it was selected to provoke. Let's see now, is the next weekend the one preceding Labor Day? Surely someone would be unhappy at that day. We can go on forever about this but I still see Beck saying that just because MLK made his speech doesn't mean that a white man can respect him and the speech and try to use the words of King to try to make peaceful solutions.

I mentioned Shabazz because he has promised a number of times to bring his "army" to the rally. I guess he wants to have some kind of violence at a Tea Party rally and racial would be the best kind to get our minds off what the Obammy is doing.

Michelle Obama Rouses NAACP Before Vote Condemning 'Racist' Elements of Tea Party Michelle Obama Visits NAACP on Eve of Tea Party Condemnation - ABC News

Dear Michelle Obama the only people who believe your words are those who are black racists and those who truly have no grasp on reality. What we have brewing is a civil war with racism as a contributing factor . You Michelle are a racist.

Was Beck a combat veteran ? I thought hard right wing radio types were like Rush who believed others should be called up to do his duty.

August 28 is the anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, "a defining moment of the American Civil Rights Movement", at which Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the "I Have a Dream" speech.

"Delivered to over 200,000 civil rights supporters,[1] the speech is often considered to be one of the greatest and most notable speeches in human history and was ranked the top American speech of the 20th century by a 1999 poll of scholars of public address.[2]"

It was one of your country's pivotal moments.

Because Glenn Beck has never indicated that his goal is to unite or even to encourage understanding among Americans of different races or political persuasions, many find it ironic at best, hateful and bullying at worst that he would choose the anniversary of this brilliant moment in human rights history for a vaguely-themed rally ("Help us restore the values that founded this great nation") that has nothing to do with unity or peace but which will feature such other famous uniters as Ted Nugent.

This is Beck, equating himself and his listeners to the brave people who fought and who died for civil rights:

Beck: "Martin Luther King's dream is being massively perverted. ... It's time to set it right" | Media Matters for America

Many people are upset by Beck's choice of date for his rally.

I think that unless Beck is trying to be provocative, he would have picked a different date. If he werent full of hubris and insensitivity, he would have chosen any other date but this one. There are 364 other days in the year.

Do you think Beck should have chosen a different date?
If he really wanted to honor our military he wouldn't have picked this date, it's as simple as that. He picked it so he can ruffle feathers and politicize the event rather than have any true support of our service men and women.

Exactly HOW did you miss the part about Michelle Obama giving the keynote speech on OBESE CHILDREN and nothing more? It's in your own link.

Exactly HOW is it that the topic of OBESE CHILDREN "rouses" NAACP to take a vote condemning Racist Elements of the Tea Party??
