Darling of the right wing!! ROTFLMAO

Do you have any idea how easy it would be to search the internet, find a bunch wackos with left leaning ideology, and start a thread "Daring of the left" or "Hero of the Left" or "Typical example of the Left." I would start with Wacko Jacko, Spears, Lohan, etc.

Mel Gibson's problem isn't that he is from the right. Mel's problem is that he is from Hollyweird.

Darling of the right??? Since when? I'm a conservative and I never heard that. We may have liked Passion of the Christ but that doesn't mean we defend bigots so don't even go there.

Got a Roman Polanski thread, or is it just Gibson that fires you up?

Personally, I'm a lot less concerned about the abusive ramblings of an obnoxious drunk than I am the actions of a sober, calculating and deliberate child molester. And what's worse than that is thinking people who defend a revolting bottom feeder like Polanski.

The difference between Gibson and Polanski is, if Gibson didn't make great movies, he would live in a trailer park and have a blowout with the wife once a week. The cops would come and kick his @ss, then next week we would watch it happen all over again. If Polanski didn't make great movies, he would rape thirteen year-olds.

"It seems inadmissible to them that an international cultural event, paying homage to one of the greatest contemporary filmmakers, is used by the police to apprehend him," proclaims the petition, which has the support of France's Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers.
Other notable signatories include directors Wim Wenders, Terry Gilliam, Wong Kar-Wai, Darren Aronofsky, Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñárritu, as well as actresses Monica Bellucci, Tilda Swinton and Asia Argento.

"The arrest of Roman Polanski in a neutral country, where he assumed he could travel without hindrance...opens the way for actions of which no one can know the effects," the group added in their appeal.

Mel Gibson isn't the darling of the right wing at all. Like I'm a liberal but I still call bs when I see it. Mel Gibson is a known fan of Michael Moore.

This story has nothing to do with this forum.
