What did anyone expect.

He is a known liar, scam artist and was trained to con people.

Watch him closely, he either lies or makes a major mistake every single day.

The man has a bad habit of lying to the American people and it is getting old.

15 days until another Obama lie becomes reality. He promised our troops would be out of Iraq by August 2010. Lets see if that becomes another Obama lie.

We need to keep a lie-o-meter on the scammer.

seeing that Obama hasn't lied yet.. its funny how you guys call him a liar (its congress who has lied) and a scammer (its congress who has scammed us) and all of the problems originated with Bush (who has lied)

It looks like some States aren't happy about tax-payers paying for federally funded abortions. I guess that EO that bho signed isn't worth squat.

Canada free press = World Nut Daily of Canada. Not to be believed and is like the National Enquirer (non credible story, fact chekcing lacking and outright lying)
Again, none of you have read the issue in total and spreading rumors as if they were fact

How about explaining it to us?
ONE HUNDRED and SIXTY MILLION DOLLARS worth of explaining.
And also the 37 million to New Mexico.
We will be waiting to hear.
Thank you

Well here's some more details. Looks like what the Fed says is covered or not may be different then what the states say according to what is legal in various states under their insurance coverage.

So there's some truth and some not here. State insurance rules may currently allow non life threatening abortion coverage, but the HHS will have guidelines in place regarding Federal money and what it covers.

Conservatives say Pennsylvania high-risk pool would cover abortions - The Hill's Healthwatch

HHS says conservative accusations are wrong in several respects:
1) Pennsylvania hasn't signed a high-risk pool contract with HHS yet;
2) States won't begin providing services under the high-risk pools until Aug. 1, by which time HHS guidance will be in place;
3) HHS contracts with states make it clear that the federal government will be issuing guidance "so they know they will have to live by our guidance per the contract."

Both HHS and Pennsylvania say that the money will not be be used for abortions - but don't let facts get in the way.

Relax. Have a coffee.

That's not quite right either. The money can be used for abortions but the states MUST comply with the Fed guidelines on what qualifies.

In this case PA has a much more lenient rule on what qualifies for state funded abortions while the Fed rule is more strict.

HHS said they will have the guidelines in place when each state signs their contract to get the Fed Funds and each state has to agree to the Fed rules on Fed funded abortions.

I believe the Fed rule is for 1) life threatening to the mother and 2) result of rape.

I recall in one article that PA can fund if a doctor says so but will not fund if the parents decide they don't want the child based on the sex of the child. PA is not as rigorous in their guidelines for who qualifies.

Good post. HHA Fed guidelines should be on par. Again the right wing nuts looking to blame Obama for anything are jumping the gun; jumping to conclusions about laws that aren't even in effect.
