Oh my goodness. The article states that White House officials believe that "Obama could never live up to EU's sky-high expectations."

No, that's not it. The problem is that Barack Obama can't live up to Barack Obama's sky-high expectations - ie. campaign rhetoric and outright lies!

Talk about twisted people in the White House.

I'd be interested to see exactly what those expectations are in detail.......

Europe says something positive about Obama: "Of course they like him, he is just as socialist as them"
Europe says something negative about Obama: "Haha, see he can't live up to their (socialists) expectations"

All true - but he is still batting 1000 at placing blame on others.

Europe nw see Obama much as business as a dangerous character to western free markets. Basically they see him as not being like past presdients who lead the world out of recession. It pretty much satrted at the first G20 meeeting when they bascailly rejected i hand his wantign them to borrow more moeny to stimulate their economies. We see that they were right in that they could not afford to do so.Oabma is putting thios nation in the same positio as europe if more disaster strikes and for some deacdes to come. Living on the edge is dangerous.

What exactly, is the criteria for 'better relations'. Europe w/ its fractured identity has a series of its own problems much like the US. So if they're down and out...and we're not the one anymore...who would be the better boyfriend for Europe?

And let's all be honest here...China is where the money is lol (and that's what we're about anyway when all is said and done)
