Bush and his band of bushwits sat around picking their noses in pure deregulation bliss while companies like BP cut corners in drilling for oil. This created the worst oil spill disaster in history, a problem that revealed itself after Bush left office. Enter our versatile president. Rather than giving a 24-hour response in the form of a meaningless sound bite to pretend as though he is in control of the situation, he got to work on the problem. He made BP responsible and entrusted those who knew best to work as quickly as possible to resolve the matter. Thumbs up again for Obama in handling Bush's oil spill.

Blame falls on Bush and the Republican deregulation scheme.

Oh brother... another propaganda talking point?

The truth - Obama's MMS owns the spill. They approved the casing. They own the blowout. BP, et al, was only doing what Obama's MMS approved.

Read this, and note the date:

Democratic sources say the Obama administration has fired the head of the U.S. Minerals Management Service in response to blistering criticism over lax oversight of offshore drilling.

...Elizabeth "Liz" Birnbaum had run the service in the Interior Department since July 2009.

2050- GW Bush caused the end of the world. He should have spent more money on the asteroid defense shield. God Help us all.

I blame both of them for the spill. Plus Transocean, Halliburton, Congress, and obviously BP. I also think that us Americans need to take a good look in the mirror. We use way too many oil based products. We're all guilty of this.

Just when I thought the left couldnt get more ridiculous...

911 was Bushs fault not Clintons even though it happened, less than a year into Bushs term and had been planned for years... The oil spill isnt Obamas fault, but now Bushs fault, even though it happened after a year into Obamas term..

Ooh brother.. Liberals get funnier and funnier with every posting..

Exactly. BTW this oil spill had never been planned it was an accident.
Nobody blames Obama for the spill we're blaming him for the way he handled it.

Another liberals who is scared and trying to make up things until someone of course DESTROYS their lies and falsehoods.

The information also shows that Obamas nominee received a report 10 days prior to this disaster that this rig FAILED its inspection and of course it takes Obama months to make a quick decision and did nothing.

Even if they put it on his desk the man has serious issues with sorting out important information and non important information.

He is not capable of doing this job and should just resign.

Bush handed him a little problem with the economy with the dems running congress since 2007 and Obama has turned it into a depression like America.

Thanks Obama for the destruction of America on YOUR WATCH!

Even Bush would have not sit on this for 87 days and do nothing but curse and act tough like the sorry frail Obama did.

All talk, no action. Guess the failure wont be getting any GI Joes made after him. Failures like Obama do not get anything but sent back to where they belong.

OBAMA FAILURE NO 1378!

Or is it Obama mistake number 2562?

Or is it Obamas poor decision number 4769?

The ONLY reason this thing was capped now is because judges keep throwing out tyrant obama's lawsuits to stop offshore drilling therefore allowing him to send millions of dollars to the brazilian bp company and allowing them to drill for oil all the while screwing U.S companies out of it. He has lost and now he has to put the cap on or force getting thrown out of office or at least the calls for it.
