Why are you characterizing a centrist and a center-right president as far left?

It is the GOP that has shifted far to the right. Somehow we're supposed to believe that Republican ideas from the 1990s and 2000s are now "far left."

I'm very conservative and I don't despise either of them. So much for your premise.

The left uses the word despise and hate much more then the right does.
