True this gentleman was accused of a hate crime...in a similiar way that Tom Metzger was.(in the USA, even though it was in civil court)....however, he was never arrested......and the conviction was thrown out on a 2nd trial....

Any group that fights against Klanlike organizations and behavior, is certainly NOT a "hate group." They have a morally superior charter than that of the conservative party. They are part of the SOLUTION.
Any group or person that fights back against hate and bigotry is right to do so, not a group or person of hate. Thinking otherwise is absurd and arguing differently is meant to be a distraction.
From everything I've read, no, they aren't a hate group.
I do know that a lot of Christian groups dislike them, because they've filed lawsuits for the separation of church and state. However, that doesn't make them a hate group.

Yes it is. So if there are guardians in this nation, why has the GOP systematically attacked and undermined every single check and balance America has got? They're attacking cop salaries for crying out loud.
