I say yes, as any doctor who takes advantage of mentally ill people like that deserves to be in an orange suit with a cellmate named Bubba.

Wow, Newt Gingrich was really onto something with the aspirations for being like Saudi Arabia. Is this the new republican platform?

Absolutely. I also think that all homosexuals should be euthanized and that cheating women should be stoned to death.

I believe your ideal version of the US already exists elsewhere. May I suggest you move there for a few years and try it out? Perhaps that will cause more of your synapses to fire...

I love how some people believe they're authorities on who is mentally ill and who isn't. Tell us - what type of degree do you have? Have you published peer-reviewed articles on gender identity?

I wince when I think about what it involves, but imagine feeling like you were in the wrong body. I imagine it'd be terrible.

No. What should be made illegal is Bigotry though, the true cancer in our society.

Being trapped in the wrong body must be unendurable and unless you have walked in those people's shoes for years I find judging them not only arrogant, but ignorant, churlish and quite frankly cruel and nasty.

A little empathy would be a fine thing but I guess some people are mentally deficient and lack that most useful of social moral tools. Yep Bigotry should definitely be outlawed.

I'm actually relieved.

I thought I'd open this thread and find out Texas outlawed sex changes or something. Finding out that its just the ravings of a mad poster, well, actually makes me feel a little better about my government.
