Nine killed when gunman opens fire at Manchester beer distributor | WTNH.com Connecticut

Omar Thornton a driver at the beer distributor, was caught stealing beer and was called in this morning so they could ask him to resign. His reaction? Kill. No taking personal responsibility for your own actions, rather you decide screw it youll just kill a bunch of people and then yourself?! What a loser.

God be with the dead, injured, and their families.

I will never understand what drives someone to do something like this. Especially in this situation where it was HIS actions that led to his losing of his job. And, heck, they were even going to let him resign rather than fire him.

People need to learn personal responsibility and need a better appreciation and respect for life in general. You want to die, fine, kill your pathetic self, but you're nothing but a coward to take others with you.

Things like this happen several times every year in America. It's normal for this society.

You have answered your own question. People steal for selfish reasons, people murder for selfish reasons. It is unrealistic to expect selfish people to practice personal responsibility. Murder and murder/suicide are the height of selfishness.

There are ways to fire someone. Allowing them on company property after stealing has been discovered and giving a heads up on a "scheduled meeting" at which they will likely be fired is not the way to do it.

Thoughts and prayers to those injured and the families of those murdered.

More fodder for the gun banners.

May God be with the victims who died today.

Before I comment I'm waiting for all of the facts.

His friends/family said he felt he was being discriminated against. Whether that is because he got stealing or if he felt that way before that, who knows. But the reports say they planned to ask him to resign. They couldve just fired him just like that couldnt they of?

Either way, he was an irresponsible coward.

The harder Obama and the Democrats constantly play the race card, the more often black people are going to feel so paranoid and angry at everyone around them.

Today's shooting is just another symptom of this country's massive problem with race card playing and the victimhood mentality that is endorsed and promoted by liberals. More blacks are going to snap as time goes on, living in constant paranoia that whitey is out to get them....

Oh, for the good old days when shooting spree killers were all crazy white loners. Now they come in all races and religions. I'd like to see if this guy owned the gun legally or not. My initial reaction to these crimes is generally that it could have been avoided, either by better screening when hiring or simply having better relations at work and identifying potential problems. This case, it seems like the guy was a thief and had major issues. But somebody hired the mental defective and that person has a lot to answer for.

I believe he was probably a legal gun owner given that his facebook page said he was a fan of

A GLAMOROUS TOUCH, Nicole Angel Nieves, Hoffman's Gun Center & Indoor Range, Madden, Top Shape Supplements, Madden 2010, Mafia Wars, Texas Hold'em Poker, EA SPORTS, Madden, Muscle and Strength, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), Best Buy, Barack Obama

Sure, it isnt concrete proof he owned legally but it would make sense for him to have at least one legal gun.

Oh, you didn't get the memo...everything is Obama's fault...the tides, the sunset, the wildfires in California, my dog being sick....yup.
