The people that voted "probably" are most likely ones that have not given it much thought and assume he was.

I think he DEFINITELY was. If he wasn't, the Clinton machine would have eaten him alive in the primaries.

The President signs laws passed by Congress. If Obama's sign-off were deemed void then President Joseph R. Biden would just add his John Hancock to the documents.

that would be a question for the courts to answer.

while i am not a fan of obamas, i voted for mccain, it has yet to be proven that he is not eligible to be president. he was born to a US citizen, and he is over 35 years of age. his birth certificate is on file in hawaii, though he is only willing to release the certificate of live birth rather than the original birth certificate which is quite different. but in the end it does NOT matter, he is president, and unless someone can come up with proper evidence to prove otherwise, he is a US citizen and is eligible to be president.

Sadly, the number of people who thought Bush/American govt was behind 9/11 was MUCH higher, at least in 2006.

Why the 9/11 Conspiracy Theories Won't Go Away - TIME

Quote:
A Scripps-Howard poll of 1,010 adults last month found that 36% of Americans consider it "very likely" or "somewhat likely" that government officials either allowed the attacks to be carried out or carried out the attacks themselves.

The OP obviously got excited by the headline in the WorldNutDaily and forgot to actually read the poll numbers. Sanrene does that all the time too...

........
Excellent point. Both theories are a ridiculous waste of time. All they do is distract people from the important issues.

All this nonsense just confirms that out of desperation, the right wing crazies launched a successful propaganda campaign. Also sad to note that a portion of the American population is that stupid, ignorant and gullible.

Well, at least, for another 6 months, but what about then?

It depends on whether you are Elena Kagan or her boss in the SC. It would be a very serious problem if it happened but I wanted to avoid it before the election and was told that newspapers print only truth.
