You sure? Every M1 Garand I've ever fired used an 8-round clip.

Is there a shortage of M1s? As far as I can tell, they're readily available from a number of outlets.

It was many years ago, so I could've been wrong. Of course, the rifle would also try to load my thumb every so often.

This is a silly thread, Obama didn't ban the rifles the 1968 Gun Control Act prohibits the import of military rifles and certain hanguns. But don't let a law thats been on the books for 40 years get in the way of some good old right wing rhetoric.

Someone said this was a well respected author in gun circles?? Maybe we should start to blame Obama for parking tickets.

Yeah tell me about it LOL Man you push in the clip, that floor plate stop goes down and bam the bolt slams forward. The brass clip seeks the sky and yer in business as soon as the thumb quits throbbing.

Maybe that's why the dufus in charge thinks we shouldn't have these guns. We can't have Americans running around willey nilly with bloody thumbs can we? I mean what will the costs to the health care be like if every red blooded American Male and 1/2 the females all have a boo boo on their thumbs?

An M1 Garand will do that.

Is Obama writing parking tickets. I'm pretty certain thus far this thread has dealt with those decisions Obama has made re firearms imports form S. Korea and the side note about his directive re the re-sale of brass many months ago that goes into and out of practice with the shift of the wind.
