BELEN, N.M. -- A Valencia County woman who was pulled over for driving too slow said state police went too far.

Jeanette Sedillo said was driving on Reinken Road in Belen, N.M., after 10 p.m. Wednesday when a state police officer pulled beside her and told her to get off the road.

It would have drove me nuts following her.
We only have her word for the stop. Perhaps the cop did her a favor minimizing what she did?
At any rate she sounds like a crier.

This is nothing new. You can get a ticket for going too slow on numerous state highways.

Not only does it disrupt traffic, but it can be dangerous, especially on a crowded highway.

It may be the number 1 cause of road rage as well.

The cop probably needed to fill his quota for the week, writing a ticket for going 6 mph
under the speed limit is being petty imho.

Speed limit, not speed requirement.

That said, unless there's someone in front of me or a visible cop, I'm generally doing twice the speed limit or more.
