Maybe this is not at all true but I have heard most of these things in sound clips from somewhere other than Media Matters or HuffPo.

Very humorous opinion piece that many here won't read so they will never know whether it is either truthful or humorous.

The statement "I take him at his word," Matthews said, was a "pitch-perfect dog whistle to the haters." He continued: "Yes, sure, whatever he says. Right. This is not about belief. It's an accusation that President Obama is not one of us. The right wing's attempt to de-Americanize the president."

What else is there besides Obama's word? If Obama suddenly announced that he was a Muslim -- or a Buddhist -- what evidence would Matthews cite to prove him wrong?

An example of the humor available in this thing. If you don't think this is humorous maybe there is something here that is.

I think it is more an overall lack of faith in what Bammer has said.

It isnt what religion he is. It is does he match what he says about himself.

I don't care what his religion is and so you will know I am not in that 18% who think he is one of those nasty people.

Now please read the article and get some laughs. Hell, you may even be able to tear it apart with your humorous writing.

It's not exactly easy to be a secret Muslim. You can't consume alcohol, you need to pray towards Mecca five times a day, you need to actually make a pilgrimage to Mecca... like I feel like the fact that Obama hasn't gotten caught doing any of that is a bit of a tip off. And since one of the rules of Islam is that you will have no god but Allah, his participation in Rev. Wright's church would have gotten him kicked out.

So I think there's enough evidence that he isn't Muslim. That said, if he were, I wouldn't care.

on another thread about this subject I made the statement that I dont care what religion he is I just want him to stop screwing up the contry.

dont confuse my pointing out where the problem is with an excuse.

Bammer is Bammers problem. he says one thing and does another. Even Liberals are mad at him about that...GITMO?

Well, Ferd and I sure agree but why don't you read the funny opinion piece and come out with some of your opinion of it? I really would like to know what you think about that one.
