They want to take their country back from the majority. They only believe in democracy when it works in their favor.
You might be surprised to learn that the United States of America was not a democracy, but a republican form of government. (See: Art.4, Sec.4, USCON)
However, you are correct in assuming that the current United Socialist States of America operates as a democracy, using bribery, opinion polls, and popularity contests to run the government. (Since 1935, and FICA)
Under the original rules, it was quite simple:
Job #1 = secure rights, and
Job #2 = govern those who consent.
Today's rules:
Job #1 = Get more power, and
Job #2 = Get more revenues.
Technically speaking, you can't blame the politicians in government. You've given consent to all their shenanigans.
You may not know how and when, but it is in the law, on the books, in any county courthouse law library.
Read them yourself.
If an election is held and your candidate loses then does it make sense for you to wish that the "country" be retrieved, so to speak, from...I don't know exactly.
You lost the election; is the winning side now the enemy from whom you wish to extract ownership of the nation?
I don't get it.
By the way, where were these rallies during the Bush Administration.
your question did not specify tea partiers. good try, though.

How many anti Bush rallies did you attend? The tea party has and will back up Bush 100%. Heck they often state they wish he was still president. It's a flat out lie to say their protests started under Bush. 1st protest was weeks after Obama's inauguration.
Compared to Chairman Obama, yeah, I wish Bush was back! But many were unhappy with the spending then. It is at least 10 times worse now, to say nothing of the socialist/Marxist ideas that Obama is pushing.

Was George W. Bush a champion of liberty?
Only they are """Real Americans""" Hispanics, Muslims, Native Americans and other minorities need not apply
How exactly is a movement that wants smaller government operating within Constitutional constraint and lower taxes in any way racially motivated?
Why don't you ask Sarah Palin a Tea Party darling? While she was advocating Dr. Laura's First Amendment rights she did not say anything about her choice to use the "N" word. While I'm an advocate for every American's First Amendment rights. Dr. Laura's language was at the very least rude and at the most highly offending to many especially Black Americans.
What comes out of incidents like these is not only did Sarah Palin not speak out in any way to say she doesn't condone racially offensive language, nobody else in the Tea Party or the Conservative movement of any note spoke out either. Black Americans got the message loud and clear.

Seriously, get some new material. The only people buying the constant cries of racism are already in your corner.
It's pretty obvious that the people that don't give a damn about racism in this country are in your corner.
Obama and his entire corrupt administration are the enemy of all who love and care for America. The left elected a very bad man, and the good people are working hard to save our nation from his graft and corruption...
You are obviously one of the Koolaide drinkers who doesn't understand that which is right in front of you...

LOL it's obvious you didn't actually hear Dr. Laura's tape where she was talking about the n-word in general, she wasn't calling anybody the n-word.
Where were these rallies during the Bush administration? Exactly! As much as the media made Bush out to be a terrible president, the public outrage was scattered. Sure there were the die-hard liberals who hated Bush. And there were the anti-war protesters too. But now, most people wish we had Bush back in the White House. The difference now is that Obama, Reid, & Pelosi are pushing policies that are AGAINST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.
If you still don't understand... just wait until the November elections.
The media didn't make him out to be a terrible president because he did that all by himself.
