So I guess they didn't mind taking that from the 80 people who actually need section 8?

Quote:
Only people making less than half the median income for the area where they live can qualify but the rules are that 75 percent of the people in the program must make no more than 30 percent of the median income in their area. Program participants pay part of their rents -- an amount equal to 30 percent of the household's income -- and the federal government directly pays the landlords the remainder
This is why they will forever be in these programs, making more is a bad thing.

I had tenants like this.. The ones I had
A) Collected government payments while they dealt drugs on the side for cash
B) Had one family member collect on the programs while their boyfriend lived in the property, (without telling the government) and worked to bring in income.

And then of course I had the tenant that I had to evict a day before Christmas, their husband was shot and killed in September, and she couldnt get on a program because there was a waiting list..

Obama's Auntie didn't mind being here illegally and staying in Boston public housing courtesy of the taxpayer. She might still be yet. People are always looking for a free ride. These Sec. 8 scammers are just another symptom of the "entitlement" mentality that has been spawned by Socialist policies.

Oh, goodness gracious! 80 people out of 8.7 million public housing residents caught in a scandal!!!

I'm Shocked, Shocked I Say!!

By the way, this shocking revelation represents .00091% of all public housing residents which I believe conclusively proves that the system is riddled with theft and fraud.

Do you think that 80 is all there is ?
I'll wager this 80 is but the tip of the iceberg.
It's probably rampant thoughout America.
Only with the government and their 50 billion forms can you get away with this.

You see the government doesn't have to care about their money because it's NOT their money. If they run short they just tax more.

This is good. All social programs should have the strictest procedures in place that are constantly monitord to avoid fraud. If it's impossible to stop fraud then we shouldn't have the program.
