Every bum needs a handout, and the democrats have made a cottage industry of buying votes by giving "bread and circuses" to a public eager for those handouts. Keep in mind that ultimately, nothing is free, and only a fool believes that the federal "mana from heaven" comes without consequences. Granny should know better.
Let's not forget the $800 billion handout the Bush 43 Administration gave to the largest banks and financial institutions in this country under the TARP legislation.
Yeah, i'm sure her vote will get canceled out by the "Git R Done" crowd complaining about gays, griping about someone taking their gun, and boasting that "my god is bigger than your god" attitude all-the-while drinking arsenic water thanks to the coal mine, in the which bought off the EPA.
There are a lot of servile "sheep" being led to the slaughterhouse, so to speak, in those parts.

Be happy you guys because you will be soon living like all social countries where unions and big government tell you what you will and will not get, use class warfare to put people against each other, I left that I can in hopes of the American Dream. The American Dream is going down the toilet and becoming like every other socialistic nation. Democrats should be proud. It saddens my heart to see people buy into socialism.

American-style capitalism has pretty much been discredited since the big financial meltdown, there really is no debate over this.
Someone is a failure in real life and unschooled to boot, I suspect.
Why or how anyone could defend the abysmal failure that has befallen the state of American capitalism is truly beyond me
That's what is wrong with this country, we are still arguing and debating over discredited crack-pot economic policies that are pushed down our throats by free-market fascists, is it any wonder that this nation is continuing its decline

Not sure how you got this from my post. What I was saying is that from 1945-1972 my family worked in the cotton fields, they were all Americans( no immigrants) doing jobs that they were qualified for.
My family lived in Arizona and worked the cotton fields. My mom as a little girl and her siblings, picked cotton to help feed the family, she didn't get the money to do as she pleased. The money went to what was need at home.
Times were hard and it was very common for kids to work on farms and be paid a nickel a day.
