"The Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is asking the FBI to launch a hate-crime investigation following the discovery Saturday of a burned Quran in East Lansing.

From The Detroit News: Quran burned in East Lansing | detnews.com | The Detroit News (http://www.detnews.com/article/20100913/METRO/9130336/Quran-burned-in-East-Lansing#ixzz0zRrlFwwQ - broken link)"

Good grief! FBI just because of a burned Quran? Don't they have better things to do aside from seeing who burned a book of fairy tales?

"Today, The Times of India website reported that unknown vandals set a wooden plank on fire at a church in Malerkotla after rumors circulated about the discovery of the pages. In addition, protestors tried to set a police motorcycle on fire and were eventually driven off when officers fired shots in the air.

But where's the Muslim outrage for that? The Church didn't have anything to do with the pages?

Yeah, it's really sad today where you can get in trouble for "hate crimes" for destroying or damaging your own personal property.. I could understand if the koran is stolen or something, but now we can be charged for destroying our own property.

This if valid would also make it illegal to bring a pig anywhere near a mosque..

Who knows, an Israeli flag could get you charged with a hate crime.

Iran Ayatollahs Issue Fatwas Against Koran-Burners - BusinessWeek

Quote:
Two Iranian grand ayatollahs issued fatwas calling for the killing of those who insult the Koran, including anyone who burns the Islamic holy book, the state-run Fars news agency reported.
Nice.

As I said before, I go to school in Dearborn which has the biggest Muslim population in the USA.

All this hypocrisy from the Muslims makes me want to stand in the middle of Dearborn and burn hundred of Korans. But I know I will be assassinated if I did that.

I cannot believe that they are asking the ****ing FBI to come and investigate. Why?! I don't get!

Because Muslims are very easy to offend and their reaction usually involves violence.

I know Christians and Hindus would be outraged if someone did this to their holy books too but it wouldn't get to where they would kill or behead people.

Dearborn, where they banned pork in public school cafeterias and move football practice to night during ramadhan to accomodate muslims.

You got it. And all women are practically covered except for their eyes and everything is written in Arabic.

Dearborn-where they danced in the streets on 9/11 and praised Hasan the day after he shot out Ft. Wayne.
