All very true. The problem with the O.P. is that he realy has no idea what is being said on the Beck show. It's over his head, apparently, or he just hasn't been watching very long.
Even if one has only watched for a week, though, one ought to be able to figure it out. Beck doesn't speak in code. He is very plain spoken.
Beck's local radio show in Tampa employed much more humor than he does now. It was hillarious to hear the liberal Orlando folks call in and argue with him.
It was to show that even his fierce adversaries understand much of what he does is to be comical. I could have gone with GlennBeck.com but that wouldn't have proven much.
I mean, think about it. Listen to some of the things he says. Look at the way he acts. IMO, I find him to be a perfect example of satire. He acts like a stereotypical far-right, very religious (note, I am not using far loosely) Republican. It's like Family Guy or The Simpsons. I am not questioning that he believes in the stuff he does, but he comes off as a bit of a comedian. And I am not being sarcastic. It's just too hard to take him seriously.
Thoughts??
Sadly no. He's not intelligent enough to use satire anyway.
