..even though he everything he said in this instance was true?

Quote:
Amid the ongoing BP oil spill in July, McKelway covered a Capitol Hill demonstration by environmental groups protesting the influence of oil-industry contributions to members of Congress.

In his piece, McKelway said the sparsely attended event attracted protesters "largely representing far-left environmental groups." He went on to say the protest "may be a risky strategy because the one man who has more campaign contributions from BP than anybody else in history is now sitting in the Oval Office, President Barack Obama, who accepted $77,051 in campaign contributions from BP."

Nice attempt at obfuscation.

Of course it's the employees who actually contribute the money.

Did you think they showed up with a paper bag full of cash?

Maybe the MM drones will watch your shiny coin.

At least he got fired for telling the truth, being a real reporter,
instead of a propagandist.

He has my respect, it takes courage to stand up
for truth.

An employer has the right to fire an employee for almost any reason.

He got SUSPENDED for injecting personal opinions into a story and attempting to justify those opinions w/ a reference to facts. And then by mouthing off to his boss.

He got FIRED for getting into a shouting match w/ his superiors and thinking he could bully them into keeping him...especially since this isn't the first time the "anchor" has attempted to use the "liberal" favoritism/balance charge before getting canned.

Mr. Mckelway needs to reference Gen. McCrystal and see how that story turned out when you argue w/ your boss. Maybe Mr. McKelway needs to seek a job w/ the local Faux News affiliate...they like to make stuff up during their "non-news" hours, which are most of the broadcasting day.

Hmmm....let's start with an actual link between the "far left liberal protestors" and the President. Let's go w/ that one to start.

And as far as Faux News...please we don't have that kind of bandwidth or time.
