Of course forget the surplus Bush inherited from Clinton, and overlook the gorillas in the room, those two wars that drove our nation into the ground, all the military contractors ("jobs") that bilked the US Treasury for PROFIT, the Bush tax cuts, borrowing from China, etc. Now GOP offers the Americans the marriage from hell, Tea Party/Neocon unity! I wish voters would divorce the GOP Party, but I'm afraid GOP voters are suffering from some form of abusive syndrome, only staying with what they know!
Wow. All in bolded letters.
And I don"'t have to wish the Obama voters will divorce themselves from some form of abusive syndrome.
It matters little if the Demopublicans or Republicrats are in power.
The national debt, as defined in law, cannot be paid - ever.
The national debt, pursuant to Amendment 14, clause 4, cannot be questioned, even when it is impossible to repay.
Congress has been bankrupt since 1933. No dollars have circulated since then. We've lived for over three generations under the expedient rules of a perpetual "temporary" State of Emergency, re-authorized by each sitting president, partisanship notwithstanding.
Thanks to FICA/ Socialist InSecurity (1935), Americans were tricked into underwriting the public debt (i.e., "contributors"), in exchange for entitlements. Now, we are in the twilight time before the final collapse.
I am skeptical that public servants would willingly surrender power obtained by fraud and constructive fraud. For to do so, would require a wholesale denunciation of all Congresses since 1933. And that is "off limits" in American politics.
On the off chance that 51% of American people actually read the laws on the books, and decided to WITHDRAW CONSENT, then the government would collapse, the "dollar bill" would cease to have any trade value, and chaos would erupt.
So, regardless of what is decided in the November elections, there is no solution.
The debt service will continue to increase.
The tax load will continue to increase.
The legal bribery will continue to increase.
The overtaxed productive Americans will suffer more burdens.
The recipient class will enjoy more benefits.
The illegal immigration invasion force will continue to drain the states.
And at some point, the 'music' stops, and folks will find that there aren't enough chairs.
Either the bloated government will collapse, or the "takers" will get kicked out of power, and the "taken" will rise to power.
Either way, the "takers" know they're in trouble.
Democrats (not the partisan party) are in for a bad time. Because, the system cannot survive an electorate that votes based on how much bribery it can acquire from the public treasury, nor an elected government that is operated on opinion polls, popularity contests and deceit.
It truly appears that the results of our vastly important November voting will send this extremely loud and clear message to HO & his entire WH entourage : "Pack your belongings and prepare for a most speedy exit from the WH shortly after the next elction in 2012" !
May the saint's preserve this nation until that exceptional day arrives !
Thanks Y'ALL / Old Sgt. Lamar
And what "surprise" does GOP have in store for us in 2012?
The Rovian "winning formula">Palin as puppet "prez", and Mccain VP/real prez? Been there, done that!

Your thoughts ring clear and true which drives those on the right that support the GOP crazy with anger that someone would dare to state the true history of the events as they actually happened and are yet today.
fear mongering from the left, how unusual. about the only thing that might happen is the government gets shut down for a short period of time, and obama will try to blame the republicans like clinton did, but in reality it will be obama that refuses to sign legislation sent to him by congress, the same thing clinton did, and the government will shut down some departments.
as for the other crap, since the senate would likely be in republican hands, barely, compromise will be forced on congress in order to get anything done, as you know the democrats will do everything they can to block the republicans agenda.
I am glad you used the word "fear", which is being afraid of real GOP repetitions of the past
All your chart shows is the Dems having a plus budget and Repub's spending it away leaving the Dems to clean up the mess. Just like they are doing today......:rolleyes
Psst, learn how to read a chart. That is NOT a chart showing the budget, that is a chart showing the deficit. As in the Dems have screwed us for generations to come in just the last couple of years.

Good on you!!!
Humble thanks, even if they don't listen, it's good to let off steam
That's kind of f'ed up. Who made you God to decide gays aren't important?
Last I checked, God allows me to decide what I want.
I did not make a statement concerning the importance of gays.
