Surprised about the 2005 decision, are we supposed to bring thermometers with us when we eat out? Aside from the ridiculous settlement amount, seems fine to me.

Oh man, it's bad enough when hot cheese from a pizza burns the roof of your mouth, but to have a blast of scalding grease burn the whole inside of your mouth and your lips - OOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! !!

I hope he didn't end up with permanent scarring. Damn.

Agreed, biting into a pocket of scalding grease wouldn't be fun. I'm just glad it wasn't a child it happened to.
