What if these men were on an airplane assembly line and one of them didn't put a necessary clip on a hydraulic line because he was stoned?

Wrong! Most expose's like this are initiated by whistleblowers who are more than likely fellow UAW members who are horrified at what they have witnessed.

Did you really believe that some producer, who is most likely a union member him/herself, decided, out of the blue, to spy on auto workers on their breaks?

Of course they think that. Anything that is so outlandish is what they will believe.

I agree that it was probably another union member---or maybe someone at the convenience store---that blew the whistle. However, it's Fox news that trying milk a one day news story into something more than it is and it's the conservatives here in this thread who are trying to paint all union and auto workers with the same wide brush stroke.

Reagan grew up with an alcoholic father. He was very well known for not drinking unlike other politicians and presidents. The reason why you have pictures of him drinking is because these were toast or at gatherings with other leaders where it is their custom.

do you get that this is not the FOX NEWS so hated and reviled by leftists worldwide?

it's simply a fox affiliate in detroit

no different than your local ABC/NBC/CBS affiliate stations that do stories about frying eggs on sidewalks.

You are absolutely correct, but the lefties that harbor an irrational fear and loathing of Fox News smell a conspiracy when there isn't one. What do they think; that Fox followed EVERY worker from that plant on their lunch break, until they found some poor, downtrodden, penniless proletariats drinking and doping at lunch?

try this some time:

whisper 'fox news' into the ear of a leftwinger, and giggle as they run shrieking and gibbering into a foamy-mouthed oblivion.

it's fun

At EVERY job I have worked at it has been stated clearly that drinking any alcohol at any time during the day, including lunchtime, is grounds for dismissal. Only a union-backed Neanderthal would think that its only to drink beer and then go back to work. No wonder American cars’ quality is so low compared to Japanese cars.
