That's because she has no problem encouraging dependency on our bloated government.

Dependency is a cornerstone of her thinking.

More mad hattery from the left.

Judging by her agenda, she'd also like adults to stay on government rolls as long as possible.
Personal responsibility is way overrated.

LOL. She is only saying that because so many on the left still live off their parents and in the mommy and daddy's basement.

What this thread boils down to is right wingers complaining about billion dollar corporations having to extend insurance benefits to college students under their parents plan.

Poor whittle babies.

It is really hard for some one to afford health insurance at a young age anymore. Almost everyone who is under 26 works an hourly job that either doen't offer insurance or it is so expensive it'd be cheaper to pay your bills as they come. I work over 40 hours a week and do not have an option for insurance. There are alot of young people in my shoes. After rent, utilities, school loans, car insurance and other bills, there is no money left for insurance. Parents pay the higher rate to add another person on their insurance. So what's the problem? For the record I dislike Obama-care, but do generally agree with this one provision.

Times have changed, you no longer get a degree at age 22, then fall right in a Monday through Friday 9-5, with benefits right away. It just isn't realistic anymore.

Actually no since the parents pay the premiums.

It says more about the current economy..no, low paying jobs with no benefits. That's how I read it.

And that's what college students are most concerned about today...Obama had a backyard/school yard talk with the common folks. College kids are worried about not getting good paying jobs.

And they should be rightly so worried.

Even if she didn't say it, that is what is happening.

The economy is so bad and jobs are so hard to find (even with low pay).

Why go through that when you can just pay your parents rent and help them out? That way they get help and you dont have much to worry about. Usually, kids move out but in this economy, I don't blame them.

Uh no. Most Americans are insured via their employers and the additional cost charged to them for covering their kids isn't anywhere close to what it cost the company.

It's time to vote Pelosi, and Reid out of office. If she has any kids under 26, they should move in with her too.
