Are you just saying you long for a world of beasts and bullies? Just say what you mean.

EDIT. So you admire this?:

I'm saying some people are never taught to deal with what ever life throws at them. They take the cowards way out.

Nature has a way of getting rid of the weak.

There will always be bullies throughout life. All the way until the day you die, someone is going to be taking advantage of your weaknesses.

By accepting your "theory" about "nature getting rid of the weak" you're in effect saying there is no reason to try to evolve into a better world where kids are taught not to bully and to have empathy for others. Aggression is as much a learned behavior as it is nature. But we need to start with the adults setting a good example...........

Not always, some loiter endlessly on message boards in complete denial of their true existence.

Give me one shred of evidence that these students (who are indeed immature, idiotic and clueless) acted out of 'hate'. I'm so sick of seeing everyone pull the word 'hate' out of their arse every 2 seconds if anyone does anything someone doesn't like (especially if the so-called 'victim' is gay, black, Hispanic, etc..). They were dumb kids who grew up plugged into the internet with zero sense of privacy, integrity, consequences.. hello and welcome to the 'jackass' culture that we have created. But isn't that what spoiled college kids, who get into prestigious Universities paid for by Mommy & Daddy, do all day long? Get wasted and mess with each other....? They were probably just trying to 'razz' him.. either that or they didn't know how else to do with their own uneasiness (and apparent curiosity) about Clementi's homosexuality.
They're clearly guilty of a gross invasion of privacy. But so-called 'bullying'..?? Absolutely not. And it seems that people are even MORE up in arms because Clementi was gay. Why? Is it any less of a crime when people do this to women...? Sorry, but this person should not get special treatment- nor should the perps get 'extra punishment' because of Clementi's sexual preference. Clearly he must have had far more issues already going on than anyone knew about, if this was all it took to make him jump off a bridge. I'm sorry, but people go through far worse and do not jump off bridges.

I don't know what's going on with kids nowadays.... young people have been bullied, messed with, beaten up, and worse.. since the dawn of time! They either buck up and get stronger, find a way to cope, negotiate with their tormentors, go somewhere else, or just put up with it. It's nothing new! And it's great that we seem to have more awareness of the situation and adults are finally stepping in trying to teach kids that it's not acceptable. But...... how come all of a sudden, kids are killing themselves right and left? Shooting themselves, running upstairs to hang themselves, jumping off bridges, etc. What is going on? Unfortunately everyone gets bullied (especially as young kids-teens) to some degree by someone else... but you don't go jump off a bridge over it. And if the bully did not push someone off a cliff,, how can you blame them if they jump? Unless they are tormented relentlessly for years with no one to help them, to the point where the victim has lost the will to live. Life doles out all sorts of crap. People are mean, people say mean things, they abuse you, they let you down, they backstab you, etc. That's life. Where do we draw the line here, in terms of personal responsibility? I can see how someone could 'drive' someone to suicide in certain situations... but this one, that is ridiculous.
I know the crime was horrible..... but much worse things happen to people, and they survive. Clearly there was something else going on to drive him to do this.

You do know that most suicides do NOT leave notes.

Not directed at you but it never fails to surprise me that so many people can't put themselves in the situation of another.
It seems to me that so many people are so cold and callous that they have no empathy for another human.
Oh, the lack of humanity.
