Wake Up People! This is a clear example of how the Progressive Elites think! They have no problem at all calling for the death of unwanted humans.

Miss Ironside said: ‘If a baby’s going to be born severely disabled or totally unwanted, surely an abortion is the act of a loving mother.’
She added: ‘If I were the mother of a suffering child – I mean a deeply suffering child – I would be the first to want to put a pillow over its face… If it was a child I really loved, who was in agony, I think any good mother would.’
While I don't agree with the idea of literally smothering a child with a pillow... I do question if it really is humane to bring a child into this world if you know for an absolute fact that the child will suffer greatly, extensively, and endlessly.

So why let the suffering children stay? Better late then never .... sarcasm intended here.
I think the conservative point of view - namely having a severely and incurably handicapped kid is a gift from god - is equally problematic if not cynical. And the child might not agree...

Who has the right to decide when suffering is too much and death is a better alternative?

How many things do you know for an absolute fact?
