Gays can marry. They just cannot marry individuals of the same gender. Same with heterosexuals, bi-sexuals and transgender people not being able to marry someone of the same gender. The law on marriage is the same for us all and treats us all identically.
That's BS reasoning and most sane people know it.
The good news is that there is a growing number of states and countries where marriage can be between two people of the same sex, giving all of us more freedom and liberty. The old-fashioned ways of restricting marriage to a man and a woman are coming to a close. I hope you all live long enough to see it throughout the United States.
If I were gay, I'd find a willing minister (of the church of whatever) and get married. I'd buy rings and throw a party. I'd fill out a new will, a medical directive and change my name. Voila. Married.

As any reasonable person knows, the argument that gays can marry...just not individuals of the same gender is a tired and intellectually bankrupt argument.
With certain limitations, straight people have the right to marry the person of their choice, as it stands now, gay people do not have that choice.
You could use the same rationale before interracial marriage was outlawed--they have the same rights as everyone else to marry someone within their own race--they just can't marry who they want.
Evolution would not reject different race, it would reject same sex. A man and woman of a different race could still reproduce.
It won't matter what anyone says, because the anti-gay crowd is also anti-science, but for those who believe in research, education, and intelligence, here you go:
