As always, abortion is a wedge issue. But how much impact will it actually have on the voters in November?

Very little. Let's just concentrate on survival from the Madman for those already here.

So we should go back to those proven failed republican policies that got us in this mess in the first place? Some people never learn,...

It shouldn't impact anything. There is nothing congress can do about abortion. For President, it is important because they will likely nominate pro-choice and pro-life SCOTUS judges based on their stance.

I'm reminded of what Ann Richards said when she was probed about the death penalty.

Q- What would you do if the Texas legislature passed a law abolishing the death penalty?
A- I would die of shock.

So basically, her stance on the issue didn't matter because it was never gonna happen in a million years.

Still ignoring the roll of the Democrat led Congress for the past 4 years I see.

Abortion issue is important but less of a "swing" issue for mid-term elections. Right now the main focus is putting the brakes on a spending addicted Congress, creating jobs, and re-vamping/repealing Obamacare so that there is meaningful cost reform rather than government control, and illegal immigration enforcement.

It hasn't crossed my mind one single bit. Abortion is legal in the USA, nobody can change that. There are other important issues that more Americans can relate to as a whole besides abortion, like the economy, national security and illegal immigration.

Mass murder is quite important. Roe v Wade may not get overturned tomorrow, but I sure won't vote for any politician who supports it.
