Aside from any other attributes or character aspects, is Robin Hood a good or a bad role model?

The crony capitalists in government essentially stole money from the people, by over taxing the hell out of them, and Robin was simply taking back the taxpayer's money and returning it to the people.

First of all, most people are clueless about Robin Hood. He didn't steal anything, he took back what the elites stole from the poor and gave it back to them.

stealing is wrong, and to wrongs dont make a right

what robin alledgedly did was wrong, but for the correct reasons

he stole from the rich tax collecting liberals, to give back to the workingclassthat they stole (over taxed) from.
