As a former Nuclear Surety Officer and Maintenance and Assembly Team Chief for a nuclear artillery unit, I can assure you this article is idiotic.
Nuclear launch codes cannot be "lost for months" when they are changed every day.
Duh.
The codes were not actually launch codes, but the code to get into the "football." Without being able to access the football, a President can't order a strike.

That is just as goofy a claim. There are backups for that.
If true, the codes were likely at the cleaners since he had to repeatedly ship his pants out to them in a very hurried manner so as not to have any "stains" on his pants around his zipper. What a dope and it only shows how he may have even been more irrepsonsible in office.
1. We have an story by someone trying to sell books that hasn't been acknowledged, or hasn't been witnessed by others to have come forward. Wouldn't be the first time someone stretched truths to sell an extra book or two.
Sorry Memphis but this story seems to be double sourced. Also the issue isn't the that the "football" the briefcase needed to launch a nuclear strike were missing but the codes that the President himself carries.

We have all of these "whistle blowers" when it makes them money, but not when it would make a difference for the country.
If a profit is made from it, I don't trust it.
