He called on Latino voters to punish their enemies by VOTING. You're only the enemy of Latino voters if you consider them to be your enemies. Otherwise, it's no different than pro-life candidates asking voters to support a pro-life agenda. Are pro-choice candidates the enemies of pro-life supporters? Yes, in the sense that pro-lifers feel they must defeat them. Are pro-choice voters the enemies of pro-life voters? Only if pro-life voters think so.
Doublespeak from you?!? Obama called me an enemy of the latino voter. Which I find odd because I am Latino. You don't seem to get that Obama called voters opposed to his political agenda, which I am assuming he thinks all Latino voters support, ENEMIES. His words not mine.
The President didn't refer to 60% or so of Americans as being the enemies of Latinos. The fact is that the people who are taking umbrage applied the label to themselves all by themselves. YOU decided the label applied to YOU. The President certainly didn't. That's sad.
Don't think too many are going to buy that spin.
Obama makes it quite clear that anyone who supports U.S. immigration law is an enemy of his, and of the latino population.

When did he call YOU an enemy of the Latino voter? The fact that you are reading this into his remarks means that you are labeling YOURSELF the enemy. President Obama didn't name anyone. He didn't specify an agenda. He was appearing on a radio show where the topic was quote: A. Immigration Reform, B. Immigration Reform, C. Immigration Reform, D. All of the Above. The agenda was defined for him. The fact that President Obama urged Latino voters to vote shouldn't mean that you feel like the enemy.
The Obama administration's suing of Arizona over their state law that backs up the federal immigration law makes it less ambigous what he meant. He is indeed labeling those opposing illegal immigration as "enemies" and encouraging latino action against them. Race-baiting from our post-racial POTUS touted at the "great uniter" indeed.

Who are the enemies the Latino voter is suppose to punish and who are the friends that are to be rewarded by their vote?
Enemies= ?
Friends= ?
