Based on faulty and misleading intelligence given by the Bush 43 Administration.
Clinton had operation Desert Fox, which was a four day war against Iraq to destroy it's chemical and biological weapons facilities. He sought no UN resolution to authorize it.
The liberation of Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) was justified after all, not that I ever had any doubts. Not only did we free their people and put an end to genocide, but we also found chemical weapons and it turns out that Saddam Hussein was working on a WMD program after all.

What say you about that?
I say four days is a much wiser choice than 8 years.
I am one who believes that the Iraq invasion was a mistake, but the war was justifiable even without WMD. Iraq had been in constant violation of multiple U.N. resolutions for the 12 years between 1991 and 2003. The same sort of passive acceptance of Germany's violation of the Treaty of Versailles is what led to WW2. Why did the U.N. not enforce it's resolutions before the U.S. went in?
A four day war is not a good as an eight year war if your are selling stuff to the military or financing the deficit required to pay for it. Just look at who really won in Iraq and are still winning in Aghanistan.
...Without being complete. Some WMDs have been found; many more are still there. Or do you dispute the U.N.'s information on the amount of WMDs that are still unaccounted for?

It seems GW would disagree with you, but, it's not as if he would know anyway.
Really? Cite Bush's statement that every square inch of Iraq has been searched...
