So now you either get to go through a radiation machine so some half-wit can examine your naked body before you board a plane, or you can have a very thorough pat-down performed by some stranger where they are allowed to use their palms all over your body (including cupping/stroking your breasts and genitals) if you want to fly the 'friendly' skies.

Curious to see how other CD posters feel about this subject.

It could be worse.

We could have tourist roping, and conservative-riding contests.

People always love to blow things out of proportion. Would you rather fly uncomfortable or have them see only this...

...knowing the person next to you isn't 'packing'?

I'll take the scan.

I'd rather have to pass through the body scanner than to have abdul blow up the plane.

Neither. I quit flying when "flight attendants" started treating passengers like cattle instead of laying customers.

Well, this would confirm my high school French teacher's assertion that back in the good ol' days, "stewardesses" were nothing more than flying hookers.

Giving of freedoms for "security" will give us neither.

Are we not all adults, here?

Let's all grow up and quit the childish embarrassment.
My human body is no different than yours.

What "freedom" am I giving up?

Amendment 4 - Search and Seizure. Ratified 12/15/1791.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
