Ok so if I just started EB and have 18 weeks left, the proposal of the extension will not affect me or give me any extra weeks?

doesn't affect you and adds no extra weeks, just attempts to get more people to 99 weeks

Thanks! So are talks of even adding a tier 5 before the end of the year an option or realistic?

I too am unclear as to how this may affects those on EB.........I am in FL, a state that is cutting of their EB Dec 4th due to no more fed funding on it. I am only a few weeks into it, can any one tell me if my EB will be extended or this potential bill has nothing to do with EB, only to those on a Tier now? Thank you.
