Stopping the Dems and RINO Progressives from passing amnesty for illegals is of the utmost importance and I suspect this lame-duck Congress may try to sneak it through yet.

Dems are only whining because they thought they would be in a better position to do exactly what the Republicans are going to do. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either dumb or being openly dishonest.

You do realize they will be picking up new house seats because of the massive flood of illegal aliens, which do count on the census, are in nearly all republican states. I wouldn't be surprised if the republicans follow Reagan and McCain and call for blanket amnesty.

Really? Please point out where the Dems have suggested spending cuts and ramping back the size of government. Seems to me they have done just the opposite.

My voting precinct has 3 different congressional districts.

Maxine Waters has the biggest slice of the pie. Her district is drawn so wonky that she will never be voted out of office.

It's time they redraw the lines.

Meanwhile, the City of Columbus in Ohio is split into 3 districts, each one taking in a huge chunk of the surrounding counties. As a result, Columbus, which is heavily democract, is split into 3 Republican House Reps.

I support the move to a non-partisan form of redistricting.

Yes, don't think Morris thought of that.

Well, it's not just a function of redistricting.

Since so many Blue Dogs were tossed out, it just stands to reason that voters in those districts will never again make the same mistake.

Without moderate democrats, there is NO CHANCE the democrats can get control of congress again.

That's why I snicker when we hear lefties saying good riddance to the Blue Dogs - I guess it hasn't struck them the Blue Dogs gave them their only chance at a majority.

Because Bush was an open borders guy just like Clinton and Obama. McCain got taken behind the woodshed when he proposed amnesty with the late Ted Kennedy. I thought everyone knew about that.
