I think all in all, Keith's suspension has been a good thing...For over 300,000 told MSNBC in no uncertain terms...we want Keith and we support their liberal programming. If they didn't know it before, they do now.

Quote:
The speed of MSNBC's reversal shows how tenuous their case against Olbermann was from the outset. What's particularly surprising is that the network seems to have been caught completely off guard by the magnitude of the backlash to the original suspension and the P.R. disaster that resulted -- another sign of the folly of its continuing equivocation about the liberal identity that's been responsible for much of its success.

Yet MSNBC was bought by Comcast and a very Conservative owner.

That's kind of umm, laughable.

Anyways, I may not agree with Olbermann's politics, but what he did didn't seem to justify his punishment. I'm glad that MSNBC rec'd the backlash they did.

Not that laughable. MSNBC, formerly a poor third, has moved ahead of CNN.

I would call that success.

It certainly raised the profile of both Keith Olbermann and MSNBC. At least in the short term, it should be good for their ratings.

Expect certain right-wingers to accuse MSNBC of pulling a publicity stunt.

Except it took a liberal to bring it up. Your assertion, not mine

Keith has absolutely ZERO credibility. He appears certifiable. Wingnut. I am embarrassed for MSNBC and both of their viewers.
