I'm almost embarassed by this but I contributed too so I guess I'll chalk it up to boredom?

Unless of of course you're just obtusely sensitive to anything you're not familiar with.
Deny, Deny, Deny.

Don't you ever get dizzy from the spinning?

Is it an insult to call Muhammad Ali Cassius Clay? If you call him Cassius is that some strange nefarious way of referring to him as a Muslim?

It was Obama himself who went with Barry, as did his father. Would it mean it was less muslim by calling him Barack (a Hebrew name meaning blessed)?

The Origins Network - Barack Obama's Irish Family - The Kearneys

I think it's silly actually to question his faith considering how clear the constitution is on religious test. I noted that much earlier in this ridiculous thread.

Obviously complicated stuff we're dealing with here. See, all these people were named by people who weren't Christian. This is because - are you following me, here? - this is because they were named before Christianity existed as a religion.

Who named those people? Do you think those names came from some other religion? What role did the copper scrolls play in the naming of these folks and in Christianity?

It's a sick, twisted way of being disrespectful, dishonest and hateful towards our President. Period.
You know how there have been a lot of accusations of "crazy" politics out there? Claiming that calling Obama "Suteoro" is a plan to call attention to the fact that a man whose name is Barack Hussein Obama had a Muslim father is batpoop.

(the Indonesians didn't discover the U until fairly recently, oe is actually a u. The actual name is Sutoro)

If you're referring to the Copper Scrolls in the Dead Sea find? No role at all.
