A violation of ethics law is a violation of ethics law. FYI, up here in Alaska the Monegan case was a very MAJOR deal with much substance, not nonsense at all.
Dirtbag Monegan certainly deserved to be fired but what has always bothered me about that entire fiasco was that at least two of the members of the Palin family were aware of the tasing of that poor little boy at or shortly after the time that it actually happened. They didn't say a word about it or even attempt to protect that kid until it was politically expedient for them to do so.
Chuck Heath was the one who made the initial call to the Troopers...look at the timing of it.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. the classic NeoConfused defense: "Our crap doesn't stink"
Nope. In Alaska, it was a group of crazed PDS leftists who filed frivolous complaint after frivolous complaint, which in turn forced her to come to the realization that they would never stop harassing her.
Now, every time they focus in on some trivial, in the weeds minutia, she only gets stronger, more influential.
Again, thanks for all you have done to GIVE her a national platform from which to lob missiles AND missives at obama.
That never could have happened if she stayed as governor.

Does that include the one the ditz filed against herself?
Quite a few of those other complaints, by the way, were filed by members of the Republican party.
You can thank Palin for keeping the TP from splitting the republican/conservative/Indie vote.
Okay, next time I see her I'll tell her thanks. I still don't think she's a competent leader.
Why can't we get a really qualified person to run for president? Someone with excellent education credentials, and a long background in national policy. Someone for whom the presidency seems like the logical next step in a brilliant career?
I would much rather have Gingrich, Condi Rice, or any number of other really bright accomplished politicians run the country. Palin seems horribly average to me.
Now, now, when a Republican does something it's only a minor violation.
You know, start a war for no good reason, sell weapons to an enemy, support a gang of burglars, all minor little things.
Well..what a lot of these self impressed experts on Alaska (who've probably never even been there) don't get is that the Republicans don't like Sarah Palin either, especially not after her boy Miller didn't behave in anything resembling a professional and rational way during the Senate race.
They blame it all on the crazed left...when we all know that the Republican Party in Alaska was one of Sarah's worst enemies.
I bet her and Rick Perry, another Bush neo-con type, are going to run for the presidency in 2012. Palin is positioning herself for another presidential run, which is why she is spewing a lot of neo-con talking points and hanging out with the likes of Karl Rove, Dick Armey, Beck, Rick Perry, etc. You want a REAL Tea Partier? Look no further than Ron and Rand Paul. They stand practically against everything Palin spews out of her neo-con claptrap
Well....Rand DID stand for a lot of the right things until he started taking their money.
