Do whites at large feel embarrassed, shamed, humiliated, or deeply concerned when they are accused of discriminating against a person or people of different color, race, ethnicity, culture, ? Or is it of no consequence because the benefits of white privilege will likely protect and shield the accused of embarrassment and shame?

Just because someone accuses you of something does not make it true. I mostly think they should shut their mouths and stop telling lies.

Your poll is kind of misleading, because being accused doesn't mean it's true. I think the individual person will weigh the situation and base it on that. At large, I'd say no. If some random white guy says or does something racist, that has nothing to do with me. Basically, your poll the same as the many threads like "Are blacks embarrassed by Lil' Wayne?" etc...

The majority always have the upper hand. Why would they lie about you if you were so easy to get along with and accepting of the person in the first place?

It is a ridiculous question because one can be accused of being racist but they are not, so in that case I might be accused but I would not be embarrassed because it is not true. Now if you ARE a racist I seriously doubt those people give a rats behind what minorities think of them.

Embarrassed? No. Angry YES! A white person cannot say anything bad to or against a person of another race without being labeled a racist and this is wrong! For instance, I despise Obama and everything he stands for. I dislike him as president and as a person. This has NOTHING to do with his race and everything to do with his personality, politics and demeanor. But when I bring up my dislike of him to Liberals black or white, right away they call me a racist! BS!! I'm sick of it!!

How do you know Obama's personality and demeanor? Do you dine with him on a monthly basis? Do you work with him? How do you judge or assess personality and demeanor? It takes a while to understand someone's personality and demeanor.
