I agree. Look at east Asia and India. Thriving countries compared to the backwater Muslim nations. If the Middle East had no oil, they would be like Afghanistan. Devoid of any significant development

Unfortunately the Taliban blew up some historic Buddhist landmarks. It's true that that religion seems to have had much less killing 'in it's name' than the others.
